The "Centre de Mathématiques Appliquées, École Polytechnique" is located within the campus of École polytechnique, in the part where
all other laboratories are located.
Ecole Polytechnique is in the suburb of Paris, in the southern part.
In order to get there, you may either drive or use the RER.
By RER:
-
RER B + 15min walk
- Take RER B4 in the direction of "Saint Rémy-lès-Chevreuse" and stop at "Lozère" ;
- get out of the RER and take the underpass to reach the other side of the train tracks ;
- take the way to the left hand of the café, then climb the stairs up to the École Polytechnique
(this takes aproximatively 10 to 15 minutes) ;
Alternatively:

RER B, C or gare TGV MASSY + Bus
- Get out at Massy train station;
- Take the bus "TransEssonne" n° 91-06 whose stop is located
near the footbridge in between TGV train station and RER B station;
get out of the bus at the stop "Laboratoires" of École Polytechnique.
By car
- "Pont de Sèvres", N118 in the direction of "Chartres-Orléans", exit "Centre Universitaire", direction
École polytechnique ;
- A6a or A6b in the direction of "Chartres-Orléans", exit "Saclay, Versailles", direction "Saclay-École polytechnique".
